A day full of Goalkeeping drills and games to work on all attributes of the game including shot stopping, dealing with crosses and positioning.

Camp notes

GOALKEEPING CAMP
Our Goalkeeping Camps cater for boys and girls of all abilities aged 5-17 looking to have fun developing all attributes of their goalkeeping with our specialist GK coach Mark Whiffin.
This will include drills and games working on shot stopping, handling, footwork and positioning.

A typical day for our goalkeepers may look like this -

8:30am Early Drop offs
9am - Coaches Introduction to the day
9am - 9:30 - Warm up handling drills, getting to know everyone and making friends
9:30 - 10:30 Session on 1st topic (shot stopping)
10:30 - Snack
10:45 - 11:30 - Session 2 (dealing with crosses)
11:30 - 12:15 - Session 3 (footwork)
12:15 - 12:45 - Lunch
12:45 - 1:10 - Free Practice Time
1:15 - 2:15 - Session 4 (positioning)
2:15 - 3:45 - Involved in Tournament
3:45 - 4:00 Prizes & De registration
4:30 - Late Pick Ups

Early Drop offs & Late Pick ups will have free time with coaches to relax and practice on areas of their game!

PARKING
Please use the 6th form entrance and car park

REGISTRATION & DEREGISTRATION
Please register on arrival by the Sport Hall clubhouse.
This will also be our pick up point at the end of the day.
If whoever is collecting your child changes, please notify us via email.

FOOD & DRINK
Please make sure all children have their own packed lunches for the day to keep them topped up with lots of energy! Also bring a water bottle which we can keep topped up throughout the day.
In order to keep all children and staff safe we ask to ensure no nuts are including in packed lunches to keep our camps 'Nut Free Zones'.

MEDICATION
All medical information must be disclosed to staff, and please bring any medication which may be required with your child and hand to our staff to be in charge of for the day.

FACILITIES
We will be based on the 3G pitch, whilst also having access to the sports hall. In cases of bad weather we will be able to go inside, however please pack suitable clothing for some rain and cold weather if required as we will be outside for the majority.
